The Puppets
The sets of 33 hand made performance puppets contain enough versions of each character for you to perform the musical Avenue Q. The different versions are dressed in different costumes allowing for the quick changes necessary without having to change costumes or bodies. We offer a different set for performance by older children in schools.

The puppets travel in 16 crates. Transport from and to South Hertfordshire to be provided by you. See the photos on the Transport page.
The hire charge is £1,500 per week to include 4 weeks use of rehearsal puppets. See below.
There is a £500 refundable deposit payable on booking in addition to the hire fee.

We have a Gary Coleman puppet should you want to play this character as a puppet. Add an extra £50 per week.
We also have available for hire at £20 a ‘MONSTERSSORI SCHOOL’ sign.

The ‘Purpose Boxes’ dimensions are approximately, in inches: Wide 12 x High 9 x Deep 9.5.
Rehearsal puppets are included for 4 weeks. Extra weeks can be added at £50 per week. Extra weeks subject to availability. There are six puppets to cover all the characters. They travel in a holdall.
To give you an idea of the size needed for the windows in your set, Princeton and Rod are approximately 24 inches tall - the others are similar.
Hospital Lucy head to the bottom of the body is 21" or 53cm.
The set of puppets does not include Katezilla - who appears in the nightmare sequence over the top of the buildings. If you want to include this you must make it as a set piece. It should look like the top half of the head of Nightmare Kate and two hands, one with a bouquet to match the prop bouquet in your production. We will supply photo reference for the head.
The hire does not include costumes for humans Brian, Christmas Eve or Gary Coleman or any set or props unless mentioned in the list above.
Hi Res photos of the puppets against a plain background are available for you to use in your advance publicity and programmes for a licence fee of £20.
Q Tip
In all your printed material you should only refer to Mrs T as Mrs T - otherwise you will spoil the gag of her name in the show.
